When you have tried and tried to figure it out on your own and determine over and over to just do better, but no matter the resolve there is something going on between the two of you that you can’t quite figure out, it’s a good time to look at the relationship from a whole different angle.
What you probably weren’t told as the two of you embarked upon the adventure of your lifetime with another, is that many of your conflicts will be rooted in the relationship history you carry within. What you weren’t told is that even though things start off with energy, hope, optimism, and big and beautiful dreams, deeply rooted aspects of your relational development will inevitably show up and get in the way.
Conflict. Relationship Ruptures. Misunderstandings. Getting out of Synch. It happens in every relationship. Unfortunately, what doesn’t happen in every relationship are things like self-reflection, personal growth, self-discovery, self-regulation development, and solid repairs of ruptures.
Without attention and changes in interactions, the relationship will be pushed to its edge and hit a breaking point.

Created with the awareness of your hurts and confusion and places of deep disappointment, the course will make clear to you what is happening in your difficult cycles of interaction (conflict). Rather than finding fault with yourself or your partner and settling for the all too easy blame-game, you will start to look at one another through attachment histories and attachment styles.
Each module provides short teachings and learning tools that encourage self-discovery as well as facilitate conversations for the two of you to learn more about each other.
Module Descriptions
Module 1: Understanding how connection and meaning form the foundation of a sound relationship.

Module 2: Seeing attachment behavior in the context of adult relationships, the true meaning of conflict, and ways to start moving toward safer connection.

Module 3: Deepening understanding of attachment styles and their origins; Developing a working understanding of love languages and why they matter.

Module 4: Grasping the workings of the brain’s stress response system and its impacts upon relationships; recognizing when the stress response is activated and what can be done about it.

Module 5: Understanding the key ingredients to safe emotional connection (accessible, responsive, engaged) as well as recognizing the negative patterns we unconsciously fall into with our loops.

Module 6: Making sense of the typical communication patterns that trap us in our loops, learning better ways to share our feelings and needs, and practice communicating for understanding rather than agreement.

Module 7: Identifying our unhealthy patterns of communication and what’s going on underneath it all.

Module 8: Taking a closer look at our vulnerabilities and their origins and learning how to make solid repairs to the ruptures we create.
